Gary Connelly, General Manager
Gary Connelly joined McLaren Industries as the General Manager, in September 2006. Prior to joining McLaren, Gary held various mid to executive-level management positions in the automotive and real estate industries. His vast automotive experience includes positions with Ford Motor Company, Subaru of America, American Honda, Daewoo Motors America, and Mitsubishi Motors North America. Gary possesses a diverse background in the strategic and tactical application of business-to-business, and consumer/retail marketing. In addition to all of his professional achievements, Gary is also a college professor and enjoys teaching upper and lower division undergraduate courses in accounting, marketing, management, and finance at various universities throughout Southern California. Gary holds a Bachelors Degree from California State University, Long Beach, and an M.B.A. from the University of Idaho.
George Zafirov, Marketing Director
George Zafirov is McLaren Industries Marketing Manager and has been with the company since May 2003. George is responsible for the management, and oversight of all marketing operations including company and product branding initiatives, internet, website, and print media campaigns. Prior to joining McLaren, George held the position of Director of Business Development with a franchise network in New York City, New York. George holds a Masters Degree from the Tzenov Academy of Economics in Bulgaria, and a Master of Arts Degree from Columbia University, New York.
Jun Nagai, Accounting Manager
Jun Nagai joined McLaren Industries as the Assistant Controller in November 2002. As Assistant Controller, Jun was responsible for financial analysis and reports. Jun was promoted to the position of Accounting Manager in May 2004. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Soka University in Tokyo, Japan and an M.B.A. from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Illinois.
Craig Harnen, Sales Manager - End User Sales
Craig Harnen joined McLaren Industries in February 2007 as the Sales Manager of the Contractor/End User Sales Department. Craig and his team of Account Managers specialize in the sale of tires and track to the Contractor/End User market. Craig came to McLaren with over twelve years of sales and management experience. Prior to joining McLaren, Craig held sales management positions within the telecommunications and garment rental industries. Craig studied at the University of Phoenix.
William Collins, Human Resources Manager
William Collins joined McLaren Industries as the Human Resources Manger in April 2006. As the Human Resources Manager, Bill is responsible for the development and execution of all Human Resource policies and programs for the McLaren Team. Prior to joining McLaren Industries, he held the position of Manager, Employee Relations, Planning and Development with the U.S. sales and distribution division of a multi-national agricultural equipment company; and Director, Human Resources with a subsidiary of a Fortune 500 Company in the government services sector. Bill holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of San Diego, California.
Takafumi Oida, Operations and Logistics Manager
Takafumi (Taka) Oida joined McLaren Industries in September 2002. Prior to joining McLaren, Taka’s work experience included positions in Manufacturing, Construction Equipment Sales, Import/Export, and Logistics. This cumulative career experience prepared Taka to succeed in his current role of Operations Manager where his responsibilities include supply chain management and logistics. Taka and his Operations Staff work diligently to insure that product is available and is shipped to our customers in a timely manner. Taka has instilled his personal philosophy of “Kaizen” (Continuous Improvement) within his staff. The Operations department is tasked with the responsibility to continuously look for ways to provide quality service to our customers because they know all too well that an out of stock situation or late delivery can result in unnecessary and expensive equipment down time for the customer.
Chris Ono, Customer Service Manager
Chris Ono began his career with McLaren Industries in December 2003 working as an Account Executive on the sales floor. Chris’s extensive product knowledge and successful sales record earned him a promotion to the position of OEM Sales Manager after only eight months on the sales floor. Chris was subsequently promoted to his current position of Customer Service Manager. Prior to joining McLaren, Chris worked in the hospitality industry and received extensive training on providing world class customer service. Chris holds a Bachelors degree in Sociology from California State University, Long Beach.
